LEYVA JUAN CURRCULUM Juan Leyva was born in Nador, Morocco in 1955 in a family closely linked to the plastic arts. In the decade of the 70 he moved to study Fine Arts at the then College of Fine Arts of Seville where he finished his studies in 1982, relacionndose with circles of the avant-garde painting in that city began to introduce the concepts Spanish artistic panorama of contemporary art both in its abstract and realistic in its slope (Fernando Zobel, Carmen Laffon, Prez Aguilera, etc.). In those few moves Rome to study a painting. From late 1970 through the decade of the 90 had exhibitions within the context Andalusian national contemporary painting, working with the art gallery Rafael Ortiz de Sevilla. During this period he received various scholarships for artistic creation of both regional and national scope, participating in various exhibitions and art fairs (ARCO). Another facet that is cultivated collaboration with several magazines of literary creation / plastic (Nefelibata, Shape, The Crystal Bauprs, Cuadernos del Arco Iris, painted green, etc.).. In 1985, draws a square by opposition of artistic drawing teacher at the School of Arts and Crafts in Merida, which performs different functions of coordinator, head teacher and director. Since its vinculacina School of Art Merida, together with the group of teachers at the school, has tried to disseminate the character of artistic and design teachings in our region, developing from cultural activities center, a work about these teachings (exhibitions, conferences, etc..) and participating in various research projects pedagogical ity.
